Arnside in Cumbria is a former fishing port on the estuary where the River Kent enters Morcambe Bay and has stunning views across the bay. Arnside Knott nearby is a 500 feet high flat rock, with many lovely walks around the woods which surround the area. The town has good communication links with a train station and is only 10 miles to the M6 with easy access to the Lake District.
