Turvey is a village on the River Great Ouse in Bedfordshire situated approximately 6 miles west of Bedford. The village has a history of lacemaking which began in the late 1500s. It has rolling fields and forest where a number of walks can be found making it a great base for walkers and outdoor enthusiast.
