Places to visit in or near Kirknewton

The village of Kirknewton is located in Northumberland and dates back to Anglo-Saxon times. The parish church dates back to the 1200s however there was a place of worship on the site since at least the 11th century. Popular persuits include walking and gliding, tourism and gamekeeping are now important industries in this beautiful part of the country.
