An absolutely idyllic spot, we really didn't want to leave! We were looking for a bolthole for the weekend and from the start, Sara was incredibly helpful and welcoming. She provided us with information on local attractions and most importantly, where to eat... We really enjoyed The Black Duck's garden and The Lamb's food, but nothing beat cooked breakfasts on the patio outside the room. The room itself is private and immaculate. We really appreciated the additional touches, like a drawer full of the things I always forget to pack (toothpaste/hairdryer etc.), a stocked fridge and Nespresso machine. The bed is huge and comfortable - much needed after a day of walking the Seven Sisters. A real surprise for us was the a large wild flower garden on one side of the room and rolling hills on the other. So peaceful - don't hesitate to book.

This is the perfect oasis, reached after a scenic drive via Tunbridge Wells from London, in the beautiful Weald. Had a wonderful stay over August bank hols and Sara was the perfect host. All the small but 'nice to have' details have been taken care of - great room and breakfast down to a coffee frother, heated bathroom mirrors and even a torch so that you can find your way home from the nearest pub as we did. I am sure we'll be back soon to this perfect city getaway ! Chris and Julie Ps Great scrambled eggs too.

A really fantastic private room, in the garden with its own patio and views out into nature. The room itself is a large airy space with plenty of room for 2! It has been built to a very high standard: the decor and fittings are top notch, and the hosts have thought of all the details when it comes to providing everything you might want when staying away for a short break. Sara is a welcoming and excellent host too. Simply outstanding.

An absolutely beautiful room with gorgeous garden and surrounding countryside. A hidden gem! We feel very lucky to have stayed here. Sara and Patrick were the perfect hosts and they really had thought of everything. The breakfast with all its thoughtful additions was generous and delicious. The room is 5*, comfortable and relaxing with luxury en suite bathroom. Book immediately, but not when we want to return!

Sara was very friendly & welcoming on arrival showing us to the self contained accommodation. It was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean with lovely touches such as fluffy towels, dressing gowns, luxurious bedding & a well stocked fridge. There was a private patio seating area with stunning views. It was peaceful, relaxing and we felt like we were staying in a top quality hotel.

Sara is a very welcoming, communicative, helpful host. Her converted barn is in a stunning spot that was perfect for our weekend getaway from the city. It's incredibly comfortable, private and quiet with the most wonderful view over the Sussex countryside. Sara cooks up an exceptional breakfast if ordered in advance which is a great bonus! Very much recommended!

Stunning B&B - beautifully furnished and with everything you need provided, peaceful location, independent access and excellent hosts (good communication and very helpful, friendly and accommodating with us!) I cannot be more positive about this place and our stay there - I highly recommend it and we look forward to staying there again one of these days.

Perfect! We had a wonderful stay. Sara is very thoughtful and welcoming, and provided everything for a 5 star experience. The accommodation is superb - comfortable, stylish, immaculate...luxurious! I could go on! We have already recommended it to friends in London for the perfect weekend escape. Thank you so much and planning to return.
