Overview

Mount Pleasant Farm is a small boutique B&B situated in the heart of the Somerset countryside. The award-winning B&B opened in April 2017, and offers luxurious rooms, a heated outdoor swimming pool, spectacular views and locally-sourced home-cooked breakfasts.

What makes a stay at Mount Pleasant Farm unique?

Mount Pleasant Farm encourages guests to enjoy the outdoor swimming pool and semi wild gardens, with a range of seating areas. Guests are offered a locally-sourced breakfast with many homemade extras, including bread, granola and jam.

What are the rooms and facilities on offer at Mount Pleasant Farm?

There are four en-suite rooms at Mount Pleasant Farm, all fully renovated in 2016. Each room has a king-sized bed, with quality bed linen, and there are gorgeously soft towels and luxury bathrobes in the bathrooms. Each room also has its own fridge containing fresh milk and complimentary bottled water, and there are home-baked treats on the tea tray.

What can guests enjoy when staying in the Axbridge area?

Mount Pleasant Farm is situated on a country lane, just outside the pretty Somerset village of Chapel Allerton. In the village, there is a lovely 13th century church, and a village pub, which is just a stone's throw from the B&B. Three miles away, the charming village of Wedmore is home to pubs, restaurants and shops.

Where can guests enjoy food and drink?

Home-cooked breakfasts are the order of the day at Mount Pleasant Farm, with everything cooked to order, to ensure it's as fresh as can be. Just a few minutes' walk from the B&B, the local pub serves great pub food, along with some super local ciders and real ales. In Wedmore, just a short drive away, there are a number of pubs and restaurants.
