This lodge is just outside Aboyne. We had a large room and large bathroom with bath and shower. Everything is new and cozy. There is free WiFi and a TV 2 comfortable beds. A dog is allowed in the room but they also have a kennel outside. It is very quiet in the area. Aboyne is a base for Ballater, Glen Tanar estate and Balmoral Castle. There are also many golf courses nearby. The breakfast is delicious, tea coffee, juice, eggs salmon or sausages and fresh fruit. The manager and the other lady who arranged the breakfast are very friendly. Rea...

Beautiful lodge, we had a great weekend staying here while attending a friend's wedding. The lodge is immaculate, cosy and the staff are brilliant. Breakfast was fantastic. Sad that we weren't there another night, we'll definitely be back!

I visited with family and friends when we took over the lodge. The wonderful Anna who runs the lodge and cooked for us catered for our every whim. Every dietary request, room detail and general...
