Overview

We are an award-winning bed and breakfast on the fringes of Devon and Cornwall - perfect for exploring the length and breadth of the South West! We offer a premium bed and breakfast escape, as well as a range of unique extra experiences that our guests may choose to enjoy. These include handmade packed lunches, locally sourced evening meals and guided walks into Dartmoor National Park. You will find us on the side of a hill, half way along an old bumpy farm and mining track, with woodland and trails behind us, a river and farmland in front. It's a peaceful and tranquil spot, with plenty of nature and The Great Outdoors right outside your bedroom door! We've got just three double bedrooms, so we're made for a quiet getaway. Think exposed stonework and quirky oak ceiling beams of an old barn, brought up to date with a fresh modern finish. Plenty of windows and light to enjoy views across the countryside and the original farm courtyard. Cosy beds made for sleeping in. All natural bath products. Simple luxury to ensure your stay is both relaxing and comfortable.

The best way to find us is by using googlemaps.com; we are correctly listed and it will save you exploring unnecessary lanes, of which there are many around us! You will need to load googlemaps before you enter our valley because reception and data signals are not the best. If you plan to use a SatNav, here is a handy map with some more specific local directions. You will need this because we share our postcode with a handful of other properties and the SatNav won't automatically bring you to our door, you will need this map to navigate the last few twists and turns. Travelling by Planes and Trains We are 40 miles from Exeter City by car. From London follow the M5 and A30 towards the South West. The nearest airport is Exeter International Airport. The nearest train station is Exeter St. Davids.
