What are the rooms and facilities on offer at Fullers Earth?
Fullers Earth has two ensuite double rooms, with king-sized beds. There is a small single next to Castle Hill Room, which is let as a family room only. Both rooms are of the highest standard, with extremely comfortable beds. Guests will find tea and coffee making facilities in their rooms, along with TV, hairdryer, bathrobe and other amenities. There is a classic and comfortable guest sitting room, with TV and patio doors to the garden. The large dining room welcomes guests in the morning, for their delicious breakfast. WiFi is available throughout the property.
What can guests enjoy when staying in the Dorchester area?
Dorchester is an old Roman Town, with many Roman features remaining, Maumbury Rings and the Roman Town House are great visits. Featured by Thomas Hardy as Casterbridge, Dorchester's attractions include Thomas Hardy's Cottage (his birthplace) and his later home, Maxgate. Portland, Weymouth, Abbotsbury, West Bay, Bridport, Lyme Regis, Wareham, Corfe Castle and Sherborne are all within easy distance and are great to explore. Nearer to home, guests can enjoy the fascinating hill forts of Maiden Castle and Eggardon Hill. Both are striking, with spectacular views over the Jurassic Coast. For the physically inclined, there are plenty of superb walks, sailing, swimming, fantastic golf, rock climbing and riding available. For those seeking something more restful, just try the beaches!

Fullers Earth offer guests a delicious breakfast, with a Full English available alongside fruit from the garden, and local bread, eggs, bacon and sausages. There is a small coffee shop in Cattistock, for coffee and lunches. Many guests find the pub in the village all they need. There are other pubs in local villages to choose from, with a small restaurant in Maiden Newton. Further afield, there are numerous restaurants, coffee shops and restaurants. Guests can be advised and helped with planning or booking a table.
