Stayed at Colledges House for three nights while attending the Silverstone Classic. From the first telephone contact on booking through the greeting on arrival and throughout our stay Liz was genuinely friendly and attentive and we immediately warmed to her personality. The accommodation is privately positioned in a lovely quiet village. It is spotlessly clean and full of quality furnishings. The rooms are spacious with guest access to a large lounge and conservatory overlooking the lovely garden. Breakfasts were cooked with expertise and served around a large dining table. We used the recommended village pub on two occasions for evening meals. This was very convenient and good. Liz is a genuine, friendly person who takes great care in looking after her guests, some of whom have regularly visited many times over the years. We can thoroughly recommend this B&B which is honestly run with care. It was a pleasure to stay there and meet Liz.

Stayed here four or five times in the past two years and it never fails to delight in every respect. There is always a genuine 'Welcome' from Liz the owner Stayed in 3 separate rooms and they are all extremely clean, comfortable and quiet at night. All of these were en-suite (bath/shower and immaculate). Beds are comfortable and extra pillows and blankets are provided. TV in room as is hairdryer. Breakfast is superb and the Full English is wonderful and a great start to the day. There is a good pub in the village - about a 5 minute walk away (open 7 days a week). Off road parking available. This is the very essence of what a great B&B should be - and it is highly recommended

This is not just a B&B... This is a five star experience. This is the highlight of our current trip. Perfect. The perfect English garden setting for a beautifully furnished English thatched cottage. We sought quality and peace. We found it here. Liz welcomed us openly and warmly as though we are old friends. She cooked us a memorable Cordon Bleu dinner served elegantly and perfectly in a dining room to match. Breakfast was excellent - as is the accommodation and the comfortable beds. There is safe parking - which is important to us. We enjoyed staying at Colledges House to the extent that we will make it one of our short-break destinations. We hope to return. Thank you Liz.

This luxury B&B deserves a visit in its own right,, quite apart from the convenience and wonderful hospitality on offer. The architectural conversion of old village dwellings and spaces is nothing short of amazing who could guess what lies behind these sandstone walls and narrow laneways? And the furnishings of private and communal rooms reflect a family's own history. Liz Jarrett is a warm and gracious hostess who guides visitors around the historic and well-preserved village of Staverton and surrounding countryside. The heart of Northamptonshire beats in this small preserved enclave of rural quiet so close to all the arteries vital for getting around England. Not to be missed.

We recently stayed at Colledges for 3 nights, and were delighted at the accommodation and the friendly nature of our host, Liz. We were lucky enough to be given a double room in the cottage which gave us a lot of space to relax as it has it's own separate lounge and conservatory and we could come and go as we pleased with our own set of keys. Staverton is so quiet, and dark - perfect for star gazing ! Liz delivers an exceptional standard in every way, and welcomed us in a very friendly and relaxed manner - it's so nice to stay somewhere that doesn't bombard you with house rules saying what you can't do ! We look forward to an opportunity to return, thanks Liz, (and Charlie).

We stayed for a night while our children were at their nannies. Our hosts kindly agreed to cook for us as the local pub was fully booked. We had a fantastic meal in sumptuous surroundings and were made to feel very much at home, particularly relaxing in the sitting room. The openness of our hosts and their willingness to chat were crucial in making us feel less like paying customers and more like invited guests. Colledges House is in a delightful rural location, ideal for a bucolic recharge or as a retreat after doing business or the tourist trail.

Unfortunately we could only stay for one night, we were made to feel very welcome, the accommodation of a double room in the cottage was excellent well appointed and spotlessly clean, breakfast was cooked to order and perfect. The whole experience was so relaxing and friendly who ever reads this review you must give Colledges House a try you will not be disappointed

We had a two night stay in this charming house. Liz welcomed us as friends and our stay was extremely comfortable and relaxed in her delightful home. Beautifully appointed large bedroom and en-suite with a very large bath. All home comforts and a big breakfast cooked to order. Thank you. Highly recommend.

We only stayed for one night, but would have stayed longer if we had had the time. It was a lovely stay: delightful room, great hostess and excellent breakfast, what more could you want? I can't recommend this highly enough, we will definitely be back!
