Lovingly modernised Tudor Cottage has a welcoming, cosy atmosphere and is decorated with a mixture of antiques, lots of art and interesting pieces. Guests are encouraged to indulge in freshly baked Dorset Apple Cake and scones, homemade preserves and clotted cream in front of a roaring log fire on chilly days. Delicious home cooked evening meals are available by arrangement. The perfect base for splendid coastal paths and gentle strolls, visiting Broadchurch's West Bay, fine houses and gardens, a day by the sea, fossil hunting or walking along bracing Chesil Beach. Conjure up the French Lieutenant's Woman on the Cobb at Lyme Regis or the legendary ghosts on beautiful Eggardon Hill with its panoramic views as far as East Devon to Start Point. West Dorset's pretty villages are rich in character and bristle with mysterious tales and legends. The people are warm, the pub food good and fossils abound.

A Slice of History. Truly a Tudor cottage with many original features. Our room had a four poster bed and antique furniture but the en- suite was up to date with everything you could possibly want

Tudor Cottage is a charming cottage furnished with great taste by a charming host. Louise has thought of everything to make your stay a real pleasure. Her breakfasts are fabulous - everything is homemade - the bread, the jams, the granola, etc. Highly recommended.
