As an ex-pat, I always plan my visit to the UK (from USA) to allow time to stay at Netherwood Lodge - this is the 5th time and it never dissapoints me. Genial hostess, fab breakfasts, very well appointed accommodation, gorgeous garden etc. I am able to 'become English' again. Thoroughly, thoroughly recommend it and I will plan to return. Sandra FC

Mrs Clarke gave us a very warm welcome and is a very hospitable hostess. The bedroom and bathroom was spotlessly clean and comfortable and the cooked breakfast is the best! Her garden is beautiful and the situation and atmosphere is quiet, warm and welcoming. Cannot praise Netherwood Lodge enough. Dorothy & CharlesM

Genuinely warm welcome by a splendid hostess. Comfortable and very well appointed double room, spotless bathroom. Good breakfast with homemade yoghurt, bread and marmalade. Beautiful national garden scheme gardens - superb roses and herbaleous border. I cannot praise this place too highly. GeorgeS

This was a perfect place to stay, quiet, beautiful environment. The house overlooks a charming well tended garden and is well appointed in every way. The breakfast is delicious, fresh and home baked bread. A friendly welcome and good advice. DianeM
