Overview

Bardney Hall is a fine Queen Anne house built in the early 1700s for William Gildas as a private residence. Located on the corner of Whitecross Street, Preston Lane and Caistor Road, opposite to Baysgarth Park, it stands on the site of Bardney Abbey Rectory, the Lincolnshire monastery owning much of Barton during the middle ages and reputed to have a secret passage to Thornton Abbey (although we have never found it). The Hall has many fine architectural features which reflect the town's growing prosperity during the 18th Century. Bardney Hall was North Lincolnshire's best kept secret, until now. Here you can enjoy individually designed boutique rooms decorated to a very high standard all with ensuite/ private bathrooms. All rooms have free wifi, tea/coffee making facilities and toiletries and are inclusive of a Continental Breakfast. An impressive Full English Breakfast is available at an additional cost of £10.

My wife and I have just unfortunately packed up and left Barney Hall, what a stunning hotel. The room was outstanding, boutique style with each room having its own individual decor and character, amazing value for money. The garden and the building are just beautiful but for us the best feature of the hotel is the host Colin, such a great guy that greeted us with a smile and a handshake and instead of making us feel like just guests in a hotel we felt like friends. I would highly recommend Bardney Hall and we will for sure be returning

My wife and I had our wedding reception here on the 18th of August, what an absolutely fantastic place. The grounds are perfect for getting photos took. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful and looked after me and my guests. Colin, the owner goes above and beyond to meet your needs and is also really good company. Thank you for an amazing experience

Heavenly Gosh! What a place - stunning house, immaculate garden, a host par excellence in Colin! I LOVED it - my only negative comment being that I was only there for one night - I wanted to move in! If you want an antidote to faceless, characterless corporate grey boxes - stay here - a home from home

Many thanks to Colin for a wonderful stay, highly recommended! Superb location and very comfortable accommodation with very attentive and friendly management and staff. Wonderful gardens and outdoor seating area perfect for enjoying a summers evening with a G&T.

We stayed in the Bardney Suite. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom is amazing:) it was a lovely stay for a special occasion and I would highly recommend it to anyone else who wants a bit of sophisticated R&R.

Beautiful place, exceptional room and the kindest of hosts! Colin was an exceptional host who made our anniversary extra special. The rooms and decor are even nicer in person and honestly couldn't have asked for more.
