Overview

The home of David Marten and his family is a Victorian house lovingly restored and refurbished to a very high standard. The reception rooms are elegant and spacious. David continues his mother Anne's tradition of warm hospitality and looks forward to welcoming you to his B&B.

What are the rooms and facilities on offer at Pepys Road?

The elegant bedrooms are especially comfortable. They are spacious, stylishly decorated, and they feature crisp, starched linen.  Guests are provided with a television, tea/coffee making facilities, bottled water, both still and sparkling. Luxurious bath sheets, the best soaps and a hairdryer are also on offer in the sparkling bathrooms.

What can guests enjoy when staying in the London area?

Public transportation is very well served to make Central London along with all it's popular visitor attractions easy to reach! The New Cross Gate is a 10-minute walk from the house, which is the closest tube and railway station. The rail journey from New Cross Gate is only 5 minutes to London Bridge Station in the City of London (the financial district).  The journey by underground to Green Park or Bond Street stations (in the West End for shopping) can be accomplished in less than twenty minutes.

Where can guests enjoy food and drink?

For those who like, there is a full English breakfast or for a lighter option, guests can enjoy a selection of cereals, bread, exotic fruit, yoghurt, orange juice and freshly made coffee and tea. Alternatively, you can opt for the Kuching 'Laksa', a favourite Chinese breakfast from Sarawak, for the more adventurous who want to try something different. This is a curried soup with rice vermicelli noodles, bean sprouts, prawns and shredded omelette.
