The Lakes Distillery, established in 2011, nestles on the shore of Bassenthwaite Lake, near Keswick.
The Lakes Distillery's Whiskymaker takes his inspiration from the UNESCO World Heritage Site where the distillery has been meticulously built within a 160-year-old farmstead on the banks of the River Derwent.
Easily found just off the A591 from Keswick or the A66 from Carlisle.
