Where is Corris Craft Centre located?

Corris Craft Centre is located in the southern foothills of Snowdonia. Its surrounded by wooded hillsides which hide miles of underground caverns and tunnels that were once home to the booming Braich Goch slate mine (1936 - 1970). Details on what activities are available at Corris Craft Centre?

Many studios also offer opportunities for hands-on fun including pottery painting, candle dipping, chocolate making, herbal crafting and furniture building. It's always best to book ahead for these popular activities. Visitors can sail underground and through the magical veil of a waterfall to discover a land of mythical stories and ancient Welsh legends at King Arthur's Labyrinth. Love this place. Great for buying things actually made in Wales. I have been there on numerous occasions and taken family members when they are visiting. Still need to to do King Arthur experience. Love the wood turner and that he uses reclaimed or salvaged word from the beach and from farms. The magical 'sayings' on the wood are great. Also highly recommend the Gin makers, you can see the distillery behind. We were there at harvest time ( botanicals, juniper) Great to have some added to my bag on purchasing!! Great Gin, world class and has won awards. Many other crafts there too. Have a 'google.'

Having driven past the centre on many occasions during our week in Wales we popped in to take a look around, but I had a hidden agenda, the Dyfi distillery. The joint owner, serving behind the counter, was such font of knowledge and his passion for the subject was enthralling. You're able to taste whats on offer. Cant answer for the rest of the centre, this did it for me.

Visited today with my husband and granddaughter, spent around three hours here, plenty to see and do, all the staff in the shops were very attentive and it was lovely to see the passion in their various crafts. Corris has something for all ages and a place I'll certainly recommend to family and friends. Thank you.

Lovely little shops with unusual gifts. Our favourite shops were the jewellery shop where my daughter bought some stones to add to her collection and the chocolate shop. The fudge is delicious.

A good array of craft shops. Particularly the wood craft shop. The café was of a good standard. The children's play area looked exciting. A good day out
