Reviews

On arrival, fair size car park at the front of the building. Arrived just in time for the tour which cost £5.00 each. The price of admission was returned with two vouchers, each worth £5 for use at the end of the tour should you wish to buy a bottle/s of something.. we did . First shown through to a room with approx 30+ seats. Our group consisted of 16 people which was a nice size. We then watched a slightly comical programme which gave us the story of Ben Nevis and her illicit nectar. A young lady (ashamed to say forgotten her name) gave us a very informative tour of the distillery. This took us through the entire process and from one part of the premises to the other, both inside and out. She had the required knowledge of the distillery and its processes along with some local knowledge with a little humour thrown in. She didn't rush and answered all questions, which she continually asked for. It ended with a tasting and of course we used one of the vouchers to purchase a bottle of single malt. Thoroughly enjoyable. A bargain for a fiver and a great way to spend an hour.

Paid a quick visit on Thursday the 4th of August after reading about this Distillery in my whisky book. I was looking to purchase a more unique kind of whisky on my trip to Scotland. We were welcomed by very friendly staff and had a look around the shop. I was treated to two malts, the young 4 yr old and the 10 yr old. Both fabulous and the 4 yr old has real potential, I settled on the 10 yr old, it was perfection. Soft and smooth, just how I like whisky. Many thanks for a nice visit.

Being a female under 25 I am not a big fan of Whisky however going round this distillery was so fun and educational I wanted to do it again! I cant believe how much I learnt and I just loved the whole experience. I find it amazing that the whisky is actually made from the water coming of Ben Nevis. For a fiver its well worth it!

We have been to several distilleries and at some point, they all run together. We walked away having still learned new things at this one. The tour was succinct and professional, yet light and fun too. Great stop, loved the mountain views

Got there first thing (10 am) so had a private tour with Tom who actually works in the distillery. Great knowledge, neat tour and views of Ben Nevis. He added a lot of local knowledge which was interesting.

Really good tour.. Only a fiver, worth a trip (especially if it's raining). Very frequent tour times, with a nice cafe and shop.
