The North Lincolnshire town of Scunthorpe has a rich industrial heritage and is a centre of iron and steel making.There is a heritage trail and free steam train rides around the operational steel plant telling the story of the great Victorian Iron Masters. The town has a new shopping centre which was built in the last 2 years. The area has retained large woodlands, parkland and open spaces to be enloyed by everyone. There are many places of interest to visit including Normanby Hall country park and the North Lincolshire Museum.
