Forde Abbey's glorious historic buildings which date back nearly 900 years, surrounded by beautiful award-winning gardens, benefit from a striking location in the heart of the Dorset countryside, making it an ideal venue for celebrating your wedding.
The Great Hall, with its vaulted ceiling, giant fireplace and chandelier, seats up to 200 guests for a civil ceremony.
The Monks' Refectory, which seats up to 80, is suited to a more intimate ceremony. There is also a Chapel available for a blessing.
The medieval Undercroft seats up to 150 people for a formal reception. All these rooms lead directly into the gardens.
