Fresh, sparkling and serene - Reflections spa at Alwark Manor boasts the very latest facilities and a relaxing, laid back atmosphere. Whether you need a pudding-busting workout or a gentle swim, everything you need is here, including seven treatment rooms, a 15 metre heated indoor pool, steam and sauna rooms, tropical and scented showers and relaxation areas. The staff are friendly and dedicated and the hotel's restaurants are a naughty but welcome reward.

Local Directions: Exit the A1(M) at junction 47 and follow the signs along the A59 for York and Green Hammerton. After 3 miles, turn left where you see the sign for Aldwark Manor and Boroughbridge (B6265). After two-and-a-half miles you'll reach the village of Little Ouseburn. Turn right (signposted Aldwark Manor). At the T-junction, turn left, cross the humpback bridge and turn right into Boat Lane.A mile on, you will come to a toll bridge and you will need to pay to cross (40p as this booklet goes to print). After the bridge, take the next left and 800 yards further on you will see the entrance to Aldwark Manor.
