Local directions: From London take the A12/A120 east to Horsley Cross turn left and proceed three miles to Mistley. Turn right at T junction down New Road to the Mistley Towers monument, turn right. The Mistley Thorn is 200 yards on the right. From Ipswich take the A12 south to Hadleigh/East Berholt exit. Turn left through East Bergholt and follow signs to Manningtree. After crossing railway line take a left and drive through Manningtree, proceed along the River Stour to Mistley High Street. The Mistley Thorn is on the right.
