Lydgate House hotel was built in the 1800s and is set in 36 acres of gardens and grounds in the heart of the Dartmoor National Park. This small unique hotel afford some spectacular views across Dartmoor and the river valley. The seven individually furnished guest bedrooms have all the usual facilities along with many personal touches to make you feel at home. The guests’ lounge, which also houses the small bar, has a log burning stove and beautiful views across the valley. A small snug leads to the conservatory dining room, again with spectacular views. The terrace and gardens overlook the valley and lead directly onto the moor.
