This hamlet of 18th century hotel buildings and guest lodges on Sark's north-west coast offers excellent standards of quality and service and a menu using local ingredients and produce. The unspoiled wilderness can be enjoyed at leisure - wooded walks, strolls through the vineyards and rambles to the beach. The rooms are fully equipped including direct-dial telephones, flat-screen TV with Sky channels, free Wi-Fi and thermostatically controlled central heating. The Lodges and Suites are beautifully finished with extra-long beds in twin or double configurations. The Lodges can accommodate up to 4 people - 2 on the ground floor and 2 on the mezzanine level. Guests can use the restaurants and facilities of the other Sark Island Hotels and our private snooker club.

"Sleepy Sark, one of the lesser-known Channel Islands, is a tiny dot of land (three miles long and half a mile wide) 80 miles off the south coast of England reached by ferry from bigger neighbours Guernsey or Jersey. Tourists are attracted by the glorious coastline, lack of cars (foot and horse and cart are the preferred means of transport here) and handful of excellent little hotels, including La Moinerie in the northwest. Dating back to the 18th Century, the hotel is formed from a cluster of buildings and boasts surprisingly hi-tech bedrooms, with WiFi, flat-screen TV. If you’re travelling with a family, the lodges, with mezzanine bedrooms, sleep four. Best of all is the restaurant, which, with its soaring ceiling and menu using locally sourced produce, is worth the visit alone."
