Brought back to life in 2007 having laid derelict for 5 years, Fishmore Hall is a 15 bedroom hotel on the outskirts of Ludlow, with great views of Ludlow and Clee Hill. A small hotel, Fishmore Hall manages to combine the feel of being a home away from home, whilst benefitting from the high quality staff that are there to ensure that your stay is perfect. Only a 15 minute walk into Ludlow, the hotel feels like a country house hotel without feeling isolated. Ludlow has a fine reputation for it’s food purveyors and restaurants and Fishmore Hall keeps in step with that. Food is very important to the hotel from breakfast to lunch, afternoon tea and onto dinner. Ingredients are sourced locally and the chef works closely with the farmers and the shops in the town itself. With a lift to service the three floors and a ground floor room, Fishmore Hall is able to accommodate guests with mobility issues as well as guests who have overdone their cycling or walking!

Ten of The Best Hotels in Shropshire by Adrian Mourby
"Ludlow is one of the most attractive towns in Shropshire and Fishmore Hall, a privately-owned boutique hotel overlooking Clee Hill, offers a perfect country retreat. Recently converted from a private school, this Georgian house has 15 bedrooms in colour-rich contemporary style with emphasis on comfort, big headboards, and England’s new fashion for baths at the foot of the bed."
