Situated at the top of Harbour Hill, the Aval is conveniently located for travellers to Sark and its proximity to the Village ensures that nothing is very far away. The bedrooms are en-suite with flat-screen TV and a choice of single, twin, family and balconied rooms. The cuisine is fine-dining with a menu that draws on much of what is grown, caught and reared on Sark, while the wine list is reassuringly comprehensive. The elegant restaurant leads onto the white limestone sun-terrace, allowing diners to eat al-fresco on those sun-drenched days. The staff’s friendly and informed professionalism ensures that guests get maximum benefit from their stay on Sark. Guests can use the restaurants and facilities of the other Sark Island Hotels and our private snooker club. They are also invited to visit the magnificent Jubilee Gardens on the neighbouring island of Brecqhou – free to those staying two nights or more.
