Killiecrankie House Hotel


Killiecrankie House Hotel is a small, friendly hotel, ideally located at the gateway to the Highlands, just three miles north of Pitlochry. Originally built as a private country residence and converted into an hotel in 1939. The hotel sits in 4 acres of wooded grounds with a delightful herbaceous border garden and a rose garden on the west side of the house. Each of our eight double and two single bedrooms is individually decorated and finished in natural pine by local craftsmen. The 2 AA Rosette awarded restaurant serves culinary delights to suit all tastes complimented by an extensive wine list. The cosy, wood-panelled Bar is a popular haunt used by both locals and visitors for lunch and supper.

Local directions: Killiecrankie lies 3 miles north of the town of Pitlochry. Bypass Pitlochry and take the next turning off the A9 when you see the signpost for Killiecrankie. You are then on the B8079 which will take you directly to the hamlet of Killiecrankie. The hotel is on the right hand side as you go through the 30 mile per hour signs.
