The Witchery hotel is an historic 16th century building located at the gates of Edinburgh Castle. "For a night of pure un-adulterated passion, check into the Witchery. This opulent lust den lies hidden, just a stone’s throw from Edinburgh castle off the cobble-stoned Royal Mile. With just eight suites to choose from, I plumped for the Old Rectory – offering up lashings of drama, in the form of a huge gothic bed; flamboyant red décor and array of quirky antiques. The ultimate climax, however, is the ridiculously sexy, silver roll-top bath which sits seductively in the centre of the red and gilt leather walls of the bathroom. Big enough for two - just make sure the complimentary bottle of champagne is within reach. Book in advance, as suites are snapped up months ahead of time."
