Hinton Grange


Hinton Grange is a pretty 15th Century farmhouse, in the sleepy village of Hinton and is the essence of country romance. Most rooms have antique working Victorian fireplaces, lit on request, and four-poster beds. Delightful Victorian bathing alcoves and antique décor create the atmosphere of an elegant bygone era. The Conservatory is a quite unique restaurant with a casual feel, where tables are set amongst exotic flowers, banana and palm trees. With a large pond running through the centre of the room, the Conservatory has a wonderfully intimate atmosphere and is a truly magical and romantic dining experience. The Olde Inglenook restaurant is the perfect setting for a romantic candlelit dinner. The cuisine and wine cellar are superb and served in front of a roaring open fire.

Local directions: Hinton Grange is situated south of junction 18 on the M4, a short distance from the centres of Bath and Bristol. Easy to find from junction 18 on the M4, take the A46 to Bath. After 3/4 mile turn right towards Hinton, continue until you reach Hinton Village. Turn right on the bottom of the hill. This lane takes you directly into Hinton Grange.
