The George Hotel was formerly a 500 year old inn which has been transformed into a relaxing haven in which to unwind. Ideally situated for walking, cycling and bird watching in the heart of the Peak District. There are standard, superior or four poster rooms to choose from but all are furnished and decorated to a high standard and feature private bathrooms and modern facilities. George's Restaurant offers innovative menus presented simply and served in informal and relaxed surroundings. The restaurant, lounge and bar have been refurbished to bring a contemporary feel, with cool colours and wooden flooring.
