The Drunken Duck Inn

The Drunken Duck Inn lies in the very heart of the Lake District with breathtaking views of the surrounding fells. Situated in 60 acres of private land on a crossroads high above Lake Windermere. Within a few minutes drive of Tarn Hows, Coniston Old Man and the Langdale Pikes. All sixteen bedrooms are individually furnished in a unique blend of comfort and contemporary design. Ranging from the smaller standard rooms above the old inn to the more spacious ones with garden access situated in the courtyard and at Water Barnetts. The restaurant is famous for its food and beer and also the relaxed and informal atmosphere. The emphasis here is very much on excellent quality food and unobtrusive but attentive service.
