The Meadfoot Bay

The Meadfoot Bay was built back in 1850 as a Victorian gentleman's residence and nowadays offers comfortable and relaxed accommodation. Having undergone a huge renovation durig 2006/7 it is now one of the finest places to stay in Torquay. Boasting nineteen guestrooms including double, superior double and single. Every bedroom has been tastefully decorated and is fitted with en-suite bathrooms and complimentary toiletries. The restaurant at the Meadfoot Bay serves delicious home-cooking using only the freshest ingredients. There are several decked terraces where guests can relax, enjoy a drink and even have their meal or breakfast during the summer months. The terraces offer lovely views of the surrounding garden.

Local directions:	Enter Torquay by the main road A380, follow signs to Torquay then follow signs to Sea Front. At the Traffic Lights at the sea front, turn left. Signposted to the HARBOUR & to MEADFOOT. Go Straight over next traffic lights, Turn left at Roundabout, this will take you past Hoopers and Debenhams, Turn left at the next roundabout (clock tower in centre of roundabout). Take right lane at first Traffic lights and turn right into Meadfoot Road. (signs to Meadfoot Beach) Continue for half mile (the road turns into Meadfoot Sea Road at brow of the hill). The Meadfoot Bay is on the right hand side half way down the hill towards the sea.
