Yeoldon House Hotel

Situated on the banks of the River Torridge, Yeoldon House overlooks glorious views of the rolling Devon countryside. Originally a Victorian gentleman’s residence, the hotel exudes the elegance and charm of yesteryear whilst offering all the modern comforts of a country house hotel. The house has ten bedrooms (three of these can be converted into twins), all of which are en-suite. It is difficult to choose between the elegant four-poster room "Lady Dawe" the delightful split level “Hubbastone” with its own balcony or “Lundy” with paintings by a local artist of the island. The Yeoldon House Restaurant is named after the famous Victorian chef Alexis Soyer - source of inspiration to proprietor-chef Brian Steele who takes great pride in cooking and presenting food in a relaxing atmosphere.
