The Wynnstay Hotel is a rambling Georgian building, once a coaching inn for the Shrewsbury Stage. Much more spacious than it first appears, is still retains an essential intimacy and has long been a place for the weary traveller to rest. As the main hotel in the centre of town, The Wynnstay is a major social centre, a place to meet old friends and to make new ones. All bedrooms are individually decorated and well appointed with modern facilities. Four poster bedrooms are also available. The hotel offers a menu that is distinctive, different, healthy. Something to please the gourmet and the arch traditionalist. Dishes that are sometimes a little unusual, but always interesting. Very Welsh and sometimes very Italian!
