Local directions: You'll find Portpatrick in the south western corner of Scotland. It's an easy drive from most cities in the north of England and central Scotland. And if you are coming from further afield the region is well placed within the motorway network. From the North take the A77 from Glasgow. From the South take the A75 from Dumfries. Approaching the village on the A77 from Stranraer, pass the War Memorial and follow the road down to the seafront. Turn right and the Waterfront is only a few yards away. There is a free private car park which is situated behind the hotel for patrons use only which is accessed by turning immediately right after the hotel onto Blair Terrace.
