You can be sure of a warm welcome at The Wellington. Whether you're looking for a relaxing weekend break with maybe a few brisk hill walks in the glorious National Trust surrounding countryside, an exquisite meal in the fine restaurant, or just a glass of real ale and home cooked food in our traditional pub, the Wellington is about simple comforts and smiley service. The fourteen rooms are themed and named after prominent guests such as Guy Gibson or Thomas Hardy. The residents lounge is situated in the commemorative turret at the front of the hotel where, from its position on the first floor, a fine view across the valley can be enjoyed.
