The Lamb Inn
The Lamb Inn began trading as a pub probably as early as the 12th Century. To this day the building retains plenty of its original character and features including inglenook fireplaces, flag stone floors and heavy wooden beams. The fourteen spacious and charming bedrooms (three with fourposter beds) have been individually decorated with antique furnishings and paintings. The décor is warm and welcoming, often with tartan carpets. Food and drink flow throughout the day and there are several menus to choose from including great sandwiches and bar snacks as well as a full à la carte selection. Market-fresh fish, game in season and well-chosen meat dishes all feature and ingredients are as fresh and locally sourced as possible.
