The George Hotel is a striking, idyllic 15th Century coaching inn set in the heart of Oxfordshire. The Hotel combines the beauty of an historic building, complete with oak beams and inglenook fireplaces, with all the advantages of a modern hotel. The seventeen en-suite bedrooms are set in peaceful surroundings and are all individually decorated and furnished with fine antiques. Carriages Restaurant is the elevated beamed dining room with a secret garden and water fall, and creats an idyllic setting to sample some of the excellent food. The Sunday roasts are particularly good followed by apple pie or blackcurrant crumble.
