Ailsa Craig Hotel


Ailsa Craig Hotel was originally a traditional Georgian family townhouse designed by the renowned architect William Playfair and built in 1820. The hotel has been tastefully refurbished throughout but also retains many of its original architectural features. The sixteen bedrooms are traditionally decorated and most either offer panoramic views over the Royal Terrace gardens and out to the Firth of Forth, or enjoy the peace and tranquility of the private gardens to the rear. World famous Princes Street, with its magnificent views of the Castle, is just a short walk from the hotel. Family are welcome and, so useful, there is also free WIFI.
