The pretty Wiltshire village of Lacock is famous for its Abbey which was once owned by the Talbot family. William Fox Talbot made the earlist known photo negative and part of the Abbey houses a museum dedicated to his work. Most of the Village and the Abbey are owned by the National Trust. The village has been used on several occasions as a film or televison set including some of the Harry Potter films.
