Aberdour in Scotland is situated on the North shore of the Firth of Forth and was originally two villages Wester and Easter Aberdour. It has an attractive harbour and an ancient castle plus many shops and hotels, plus a railway station. There are two beaches in the town one called Silver Sands which is one of Scotlands blue flag award beaches. The other is Black sands which is rockier and has rock caves to explore. The nearby church of St Fillan's is one of the best preserved medieval churches in Scotland.
