Yew Tree Farm, located in Cumbria's Eden Valley, has a wonderful sense of history and heritage, a Grade II listed building that has been expertly converted to suit self-catering holidays. The Farm's pleasant surroundings include a large front lawn with a picnic table, ideal for barbecues in the summer and with private parking, with the grounds often proving of interest to historians. Visitors enjoy underfloor heating, stylish furnishings and excellent storage space, while the kitchen and dining areas are fully-equipped for a wide choice of cuisine. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, with the majority of bedrooms being en-suite and offering both baths and showers.

Local directions: From the South: Take exit 39 on the M6 and turn right onto the A6 towards Shap. Drive through Shap heading north and turn right opposite the Bull's Head pub following signposts to Crosby Ravensworth. The road takes you back over the M6 motorway. Keep going and take your first road left - to Reagill. Take care on this road as it is narrow and has a few blind hills on it. When in Reagill (blink and you may miss it!) take the first right signposted to Appleby. This road bends sharp left, follow it round and we are the first drive on your left. From the North: From Penrith, head south on the A6 towards Shap. As you enter Shap, pass the Co-Op on your right, and turn left opposite the Bull's Head pub, following the same route as above.
