The Lazy Fish is a Lake District self-catering, luxury getaway that has a five-star rating and is located a short drive from the pleasant market towns of Keswick and Cockermouth. There is a great deal to enjoy in the surrounding area, in one of the UK's most picturesque and inspirational landscapes, being excellent for walking and mountain biking routes, rock climbing and a number of watersports. The Lazy Fish is a converted barn that has underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove, together with contemporary furnishings and the use of an outdoor spa pool. Though self-catering, services are versatile and meals can be ordered from the local chef.

Local directions:	Leave the M6 at junction 40 and follow the A66 west towards Workington and Keswick. After approximately 35 – 40 minutes (9 miles after Keswick) look for a sign saying Lorton Buttermere and take this left. Up a short hill you will reach a t-junction. Turn left signposted Wythop Mill. After a few hundred metres you will see St Cuthbert’s Church on your left and a private lane opposite. Turn right up this lane and Brook House is the first house on the left. Just over the bridge is a parking area for The Lazy Fish.
