The Bothie is an East Lothian self-catering facility for up to four people, complete with modern kitchen equipment, a comfortably designed sitting room and a private courtyard complete with garden furniture and a barbecue. There is much to enjoy at this scenic location for lovers of history and nature, with Edinburgh and Berwick both a short drive away and a number of stunning beaches and picturesque landscapes to enjoy. Tariffs are arranged on a weekly basis, with the aim of allowing service users to achieve that home-away-from-home feel, enjoying a large sun room and extensive gardens.

Local directions: Drem is located approximately 20 miles east of Edinburgh, close to both North Berwick and Haddington, with easy access via road or rail. Getting to Drem by road is most easily done via the A1, either coming east from Edinburgh or from The South leave the A1 at the easterly Haddington exit and follow the small road over the Garleton Hills towards Drem turning right when you get to the railway line. A more scenic route can be taken, from Edinburgh, along the coast on either the A198 or B1348. Coming along the coast the A6137 & B1377 can be taken from Aberlady to Drem or the B 1345 from Dirleton.
