The barn's owners, take great pride in reducing the carbon footprint of their services, whilst not compromising on the quality of interior comforts and equipment. Features of the Swallows Nest include underfloor heating, organic bedding and a modern log burner, while a private patio area and garden is suitable for barbecues. There are many species of wildlife that can often be seen around the barn, and a number of walks and cycle routes that allow visitors to make the most of the scenery.
