Pear Tree Farm is a purpose-built 4-star guest house with studio facility and large car park. The property is situated within the beautiful Amber Valley and nestled in the heart of Derbyshire. We are located on the edge of the Peak District and Derbyshire Dales and just 10 minutes away from the hugely popular Matlock Bath. Pear Tree Farm has a rich and fascinating history. Sited within the Derwent Valley World Heritage site, the farm was a 17th century corn mill once owned by the Nightingale family who’s famous daughter Florence grew up in the local village.

| Local directions: | From the M1, exit at Junction 28 and take the A38 to Derby. After approximately 5 miles turn right onto the A610 to Ambergate and join the A6 at the T-junction. Turn right towards Cromford and follow the road for approximately 4-5 miles. At Cromford turn right at the traffic lights towards Cromford Bridge. Continue for approximately 2 miles with the River Derwent on your right. Turn left at John Smedley's Mill and after approximately half a mile Pear Tree Farm is situated on the left hand side. |
