Panholes Cottages are located in Perthshire and consist of two self-catering houses restored to their early nineteenth-century character, complete with luxury furnishings and modern utilities. Guests can enjoy many hand-additions to these exceptional barn conversions, with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and a stone fireplace to keep warm by. There is a great deal to enjoy in the local area, being popular for golf holidays, fishing locations and whisky sampling, whilst being an excellent area for wildlife conservation and heritage, a short drive from historic Stirling and Edinburgh.

Local directions: From the south, take the M6, then the M74 towards Glasgow. Follow signs to Stirling M9. Take the M9, passing Stirling and continue towards Perth. Follow signs to Perth. When you reach the large Keir roundabout (just after Stirling) follow signs to Perth A9. Continue on A9 passing Greenloaning. Turn off the A9 signposted Blackford. Drive through the village of Blackford to the level crossing. Turn sharp left immediately over the level crossing. Follow the road to the cross roads and turn left. Panholes Cottages are 1/2 mile on the left along this road . Drive past Mains of Panholes entrance to the next gate. Please collect the key from John and Ruth at the farmhouse.
