Old Post Cottage is located alongside the sandy beaches of the North Devon coast in the pleasant village of Mortehoe and in one of the UK's few marine conservation areas. The area has been protected for having outstanding natural beauty, border Exmoor National Park and is an excellent location for enjoying watersports and coastal scenery. The cottage itself dates back to the sixteenth century, has its own private garden and parking, and has been the subject of skilled refurbishment. Utilities available include a wood-burning stove, a full range of cooking equipment and wireless Internet access.

Local directions: Take J27 from the M5 onto the A361 to Barnstaple. Continue on the A361 through Barnstaple and Braunton in the direction of Ilfracombe. About five miles from Ilfracombe at the Mullacott Cross roundabout go left for Woolacombe and Mortehoe on the B3343 then follow signs for Mortehoe. The cottage is just off the village square down the path to the right of the Rockleigh House restaurant as you look at it. Full details including parking instructions will be sent on booking.
