Over 250 years old, these delightful cottages are situated in the unspoilt & Picturesque Village of Nunnington at the Rural Heart of North Yorkshire & within the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Our cottages are furnished with quality fixtures and fittings and we strive to deliver the highest level of comfort and cleanliness to all our guests. Rosedene Cottage, the original farm cottage which was featured on the front cover of '25 Beautiful Homes', 'The Yorkshire Life' & within 'The Journal Publication'. On the ground floor: Comfortable Lounge with wood burner, Large Dining Kitchen with welcoming Aga, Original beams throughout, Oak flooring, Utility Room, Sun Room, Separate toilet & basin. First Floor: 2 Bedrooms - 1 6ft Double (Zip & link), 1 Double, Newly fitted Bathroom with Shower Cubicle, Bath, Toilet & Basin. Strawberry Cottage, Converted Stables with Beams & Vaulted ceilings throughout. All positioned on the ground floor, with Stone and Wood flooring through out. Lounge with Wood burning Stove, Dining Kitchen, Double Bedroom with small step down to En-suite bathroom with Bath and Shower taps, Toilet & Basin. Both cottages are set within a beautiful large cottage garden, with views across the Vale of Ryedale, a pond, sitting out areas and a vegetable patch where guests are welcome to pick their own fruit and vegetables in season. On the occasion that you fancy a meal out, there is the Royal Oak Inn just a short stroll from your cottages serving meals and wonderful beers. The Impressive National Trusts 'Nunnington Hall' on the banks of the River Rye, with its walled garden and eight acres of organically managed grounds to explore is also on your door step. Rosedene Cottage can accommodate up to 4 overnight guests in our two double bedrooms. Strawberry Cottage can accommodate up to 2 overnight guests. Please note that if both cottages are booked you can accommodate up to 6 guests.
