Gold Award winning 5 Star self catering holiday cottages located in the grounds of a Grade II listed former gentleman’s residence, in the conservation area of Rainow village.
The parish is blessed with a massive network of footpaths, varying from quiet rambles, to tough hill walking and rugged moors; this includes the famous Gritstone Trail.
The beautiful Peak Park and several pretty villages, with fine pubs, shops and restaurants, are on the doorstep. The historic city of Chester, Cheshire’s ‘magnificent seven’ National Trust properties and the market towns of Macclesfield, Buxton, Bakewell, Ashbourne and Leek are within easy driving distance. Alton Towers Resort and Theme Park is approximately 50 minutes drive away Trains run from Macclesfield, on the main line from London, for the short journey to the bustling city of Manchester with its many galleries, museums and theatres. Manchester International Airport is less than half an hour’s drive away.

Local directions: Directions from Stockport, Cheshire to Kerridge End Holiday Cottages, Kerridge End. From Stockport follow signs for Macclesfield A523 Continue along the A523 for approximately 8 miles, approaching Macclesfield continue to a roundabout with Tescos on the left hand side. Take first exit from the roundabout, Whaley Bridge/Chapel-en-le-Frith B5470. Continue along B5470 to Rainow. Directions from Buxton, Derbyshire to Kerridge End Holiday Cottages, Kerridge End Leave Buxton along A53, turn right onto Macclesfield Main Road, A54 (A537). after approximately 11/2 miles bear right onto A537 (signposted Macclesfield). Continue along the A537 pass the Cat and Fiddle pub on the right hand side. Approximately 41/2 miles further along turn right onto Bull Hill Lane, to Rainow. Directions from Macclesfield, Cheshire to Kerridge End Holiday Cottages, Kerridge End Leave Macclesfield on the B5470, pass Tescos on the left hand side. Continue along B5470 to Rainow.
