Kernock Cottages are made up of five award- winning luxury self-catering cottages sleeping two, four, six or eight people (all bedrooms ensuite). Each is 5* rated and has its own private gardens and access to expansive grounds with twenty-eight acres of gardens and woodland, and an adventure playground for children with swings, slides, a huge trampoline and an Indian tipi. The Lynher Valley is one of many Cornwall locations known for its individual natural beauty, where visitors can enjoy the results of conservation from a community that has always treasured its natural heritage.

Local directions: From the A38 at Plymouth, cross the Tamar Bridge and go through the tunnel. At the roundabout at the top of the hill, take the right hand exit onto the A388 following signs to Callington, Launceston and St Mellion. After about a mile, at the village of Hatt , turn left at the roundabout (signposted Pillaton). Follow the lane for about 2 miles until you pass Kernock Park Plants on your left. Take the next left and follow the lane for about 400 yards and the entrance to Kernock House will be on your left.
Bedroom Facilities: White Company toiletries, White Company bathrobes, Egyptian cotton bedlinen, towels, hairdryers.
Property Facilities: 28 acre estate with mature grounds; each cottage has a private lawn & terrace, BBQ, garden furniture. Adventure playground (tube slide, wave slide, swings, climbing towers, playhouse etc), 14' trampoline with safety net, 18' diameter Indian tipi. We also offer guests membership to China Fleet Country Club (with pool & spa) locally - good for rainy days , living room with flatscreen TV, DVD player, CD player, iPod dock, superfast broadband, Wi-Fi internet access, all baby kit free including cot, highchair, monitor, stairgate, steriliser, bedrail, bumbos, bath seat, baby bouncer, toys and books etc, washing machine/dryer, cooker, microwave, dishwasher, all mod-cons, central heating.
Indoor Activities: Lots of games, books and toys. The 18-ft diameter Tipi is great for indoor play or an overnight sleepover (for the brave!).
Outdoor Activities: Adventure playgrounds, the tipi, the trampoline and the woods are all great for adventure play. We give you membership to the China Fleet Country Club (pool with flume, and a spa for Mum!) - great if it is raining.
Nearby Activities: Golf, canoeing, river cruises, windsurfing and great walking all in the area, coasteering, horse riding, fishing, UK's longest zipwire, karting, tree-surfing. National Trust houses close by (Cotehele, Edgcumbe, Antony). Lots for kids - donkey, monkey, otter and owl sanctuaries (all different places!), soft play at Trethorne, the Aquarium at Plymouth, etc.
