Ten of the Best Dog-friendly Self-Catering Properties by Kate Simon

"You and your dog can explore the sights (and smells) of the quaint fishing villages of the East Neuk of Fife if you choose to stay at this 18th-century four-bedroom cottage, sleeping up to eight, on the quay in Pittenweem. The coastal footpath passes close by the front door and if you’re visiting between October and April, your dog can run free on the vast sands at nearby St Andrews."
